When Was It Discover/ Created?

Carbon has been known to exist since prehistoric times. It is an element that is found in many forms that makes up every known living thing. Towards who discovered carbon the answer still remains as a definitive ''don't know'' or unknown answer. It was considered an element in the mid eighteenth century when several people elucidated carbon's various different properties.
